The project concept was to create a quick reference guide as a tool to assist students just beginning to learn about the fundamentals of typography. It is a one page spread that summarizes all the crucial basic information; such as measurements, size, terminology of letterforms, and type styles. On the back of the guide, there is space for students to make notes, or practice typography rules.
The objective of this project was to develop the final product in phases that follow the learning process about typography. The second volume is meant to focus on grid layouts, kerning, and tracking.
